How to Survive a K-Pop Concert…….Alone

Hey guys, today I’ll be sharing some tips on how you can enjoy a K-pop concert….even though you’ll be going there alone. I know this sounds intimidating but I promise it’s really not as bad as you think!

Lets begin on what you’ll need shall we 🙂

  • WATER. Please please please PLEASE bring water along! It may rain, it may shine, it may snow, you will never know but you don’t wanna be fainting at the concert. PLEASE STAY HYDRATED!
  • Snacks. Little titbits like granola bars or chocolate bars are great! They’re small, cute and portable so make sure to have a few with you.
  • Money. There’ll be loads of cute merch!
  • Portable charger. You don’t wanna be capturing wonderful moments with 2% battery…
  • Small umbrella (optional). Rain or shine, it’s useful!
  • A portable fan [if you’re going in the summer]
  • Wet wipes. Gotta stay clean and fresh!
  • Heat pack [if you’re going in the winter]
  • Tickets. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT.

Now that you’ve got all the essentials, let’s move on the next thing, the timing. If you have a specific seat allocated to you, you don’t have to worry too much but if your tickets are first come first serve [GA], you wouldn’t want to be at the back of the concert hall tip toeing to see your fav. So what is a good time to start queuing? I’ve heard people who queue from the night before. As a very big fan myself, I’ve personally queued for 12 hours and still got a bad spot. So be as early as possible but stay safe always!

Speaking of tip toeing to see your favs, if you’re vertically challenged like me, I would recommend a ticket on the first row of the second floor (if the concert hall have a second floor). That way, you get a wide and better view from above without anyone blocking you!

Now the most important part, don’t be afraid to talk to people! I know it can be intimidating but they are all there for the same reason! Say hi! I promise they are some of the nicest people in the world where you can sing songs with and talk about your idols to, they’ll play a big part in your experience! Also, they’ll be the one saving seats in the queue for you when you go to the toilets etc. Some of them are alone too and I’m sure they’ll really appreciate it if someone comes up and talk to them!

Last but not least, be respectful to others, take care, and have fun because remember, money cannot buy time and no matter what you do, you’ll never get that wonderful day back again. So make the most out of it and have the time of your life! ❤

Thanks for reading! I’ll see you guys in my next blog!
